Park Ji-min is well known as Jamie or Jamie Park, and formerly Jimin Park is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and television host. She is best known as the winner of the first season of K-pop Star and as a former member of the vocal duo 15& and the project group M.O.L.A.
She posted a picture of her mother to Instagram in August 2015 and posted a throwback picture of herself as a baby with her grandmother to Instagram in August 2017.
Park participated in the first season of the competition television show K-pop Star in 2011 and finished in first place in the competition.
She signed with JYP Entertainment. “I Dream,” her first song with 15&, was released in 2012 upon winning K-pop Star. As a philanthropist as well as a pop singer, she gave approximately forty-five thousand dollars to a performing arts organization for visually-impaired musicians.
Park Ji-min was born on July 5, 1997, in Daejeon, South Korea. She lived in Thailand for eight years and attended Garden International School in Bangkok. Park speaks Korean, fluent English, and basic Thai.
She performed Rihanna‘s hit “We Found Love” in 2012.
