American singer and actor Elvis Presley establish early rock and roll music. He is widely considered one of the most important cultural icons of the 20th century.
Elvis found his music inspiration from grouping songs of the church.
His music career began as a performer of rockabilly. It was an up-tempo fusion of country music with a strong backbeat. Elvis Presley’s first RCA Records single, “Heartbreak Hotel”, was released in 1956. It became a number-one hit in the United States. He made his film debut in Love Me Tender in November 1956. After two years American famous actor returned to his music career and did his most commercially successful work.
Elvis Presley was born to Vernon Elvis and Gladys Love. He had a twin brother named Jesse Garon Presley. He and Priscilla married in 1967 and divorced in 1973. The couple had a daughter, Lisa Marie.
British singer Harry Styles‘ first recorded song was Presley‘s “The Girl of My Best Friend”.
